He graduated in 2009 from medical school in Amsterdam and now works as a neurologist in Sweden. As an undergraduate, he obtained his trainer certification in 2006, after finishing the IFMSA Training New Trainers course. Since then, he delivered trainings and workshops at various international training events. He focuses on training development and tries to find possibilities to combine it with the learning objectives of traditional academia.
The International Parkinson’s Disease Summer School combines his training and professional interests and focuses on student-centered education, patient-centered thinking and interprofessional collaboration in order to ask relevant research questions which could inspire further research.
